Welcome to the Forensic Nursing Certification Board (FNCB) Success Series! The information contained in the modules is designed to explain and prepare the Candidate for success when seeking specialty and sub-specialty certifications from FNCB. Your desire to obtain certification is a lifelong goal for validation of the Forensic Nurse’s science and practice. Since 2018, the FNCB committed to validating the methods used in the creation of FNCB certifications, meeting the standards for certification testing in nursing, and seeking certification of each examination. The result is that FNCB’s efforts validate competence in the knowledge necessary for the practice of the forensic nurse, regardless of educational achievement, specialty or sub-specialty practices. The Application to qualify for the FNCB certification examinations is located in the FNCB Certification Begins with the Application module that follows. After you complete your application, choose your testing dates, and expect to hear from your FNCB Application Committee within 30 days or sooner!
